Our Rental Policies:

Returns

We offer next day platter pick up from your venue (upon venue approval) for an additional fee. Platters may also be returned within 5 days of rental to our shop in Hotchkiss at no additional cost. We are located inside Farm Runners Station at 235 Highway 133, Hotchkiss, CO. Farm Runners is open Wednesday-Saturday 8:30-5:30p & Sunday 10-4p. Please let us know if you need to make a return outside of these hours.

A bin with bubble wrap will be left at your venue upon delivery to pack up & return platters in. This bin will also contain an inventory form with a detailed list of the platters provided. Platters do not need to be washed, but please remove as much food debris as possible. We will inventory your rentals after they are returned and reach out within the week if any platters are missing or damaged beyond normal “wear and tear”.

Damaged/Missing Rentals

Damaged or missing platters will incur a $25 replacement fee per platter, $50/tiered stand. A credit card number is required on your rental agreement form and will be held on file until your platter returns are processed.  

 

Platter Rental F.A.Q.

  1. Can we pick and choose specific pieces? 

    While we are happy to take requests for specific pieces and will do our best to accommodate, please note that our inventory is constantly evolving, and we cannot guarantee their availability on your chosen date. We will make every effort to provide suitable alternatives should your desired items be unavailable.

     

  2. Can we rent a few items from you and use a few of our own for the dessert table? 

    Absolutely! There is no minimum amount to our rentals and rental pricing is based on # of platters needed. We are happy to work with you to figure out exactly how many platters will be needed in total for your dessert order and how to balance the mixture best. From there we can create a custom quote for you to review.

     

  3. What if our venue won’t let us leave anything overnight for next day pick up? 

    If your venue is unable to accommodate next day pick up's we are happy to pick up elsewhere in the local area (Airbnb or Hotel room's etc., or returning rentals to our shop in Hotchkiss may be the best option.)

  4. Do you offer other decor for the table? 

    We only offer platters and signs at this time. We highly suggest adding floral arrangements, candles or any other decor being used throughout your design to your dessert table to complete the look though! 

     

  5. Do we need to wash the platters before they are returned to you? 

    We ask that any food debris be wiped off as much as possible but we will wash and sanitize platters as part of our check-in process.

  6. How many platters do I need for my dessert table?: Once your final dessert selections have been made we will calculate the number of platters needed for your display and include it in your Platter Rental Agreement. If any adjustments to your order are made (more or less desserts added) we will adjust the platter count as needed.
